Introducing: Black Casino And The Ghost

Black Casino and the Ghost are an alternative rock band consisting of Elisa Zoot (vocals, piano) Ariel Lerner (guitar) Gary Kilminster (bass) and Paul Winter-Hart (drums). The band was formed in London in 2010.

After releasing their debut EP ‘Falling into pieces’ in late 2011 they are back with ‘I like you ’cause you’re free’, a first glimpse of the new upcoming album ‘Some dogs think their name is no’ due for release in September 2013 on Lucky Machete records.

Entirely self produced and recorded live, their music is about isolation, disorientation, lust, and how to fly a plane through turbulence without spilling your coffee.

‘I like you ’cause you’re free’ is a somber piano led ballad, an intimate admission of weakness in a world of perfect self portraits and choreographed communication. “All we are is what we choose to hide from each other, tell me how you really feel or don’t even bother talking”.
