Metzop – Not Defective

‘Not Defective’ is the latest Electronic release from internationally respected London producer Martin Golding, aka Metzop.

Metzop’s creative influences stem from a range of life experiences, including a period studying contemporary classical works at school, tasking himself with learning how to play the piano and other instruments

Having recently released ‘The Notorious BIG – Another Verse (Metzop Remix)’ & ‘Warm Hands Take Me Away’, Metzops mixes things up a little with his latest release, adding some Drum and Bass flavour to his latest musical reappearance, ‘Not Defective’.

Influenced by a diverse range of artists from Adventure Club and Yinyues to Bakermat and Fred Falke, Metzop conveys emotion and shape it into his own brand of synthesised aural pleasure. Metzop has also had the experience of working & touring with British indie band, The xx.

Metzop fuses contemporary sound with classical influence, showcasing his mindset and thought sequence, the skill and slick artistry and eclectic process he routes to during creation of his innovative sound. This is something that is evident when listening to a Metzop record and can be heard throughout ‘Not Defective’ for sure!

This brand new release contains effective sampling, with Faith Evans’ beautiful vocals recycled throughout and wordplay taken from Homeland, all used to tell a story with intelligent direction. ‘Not Defective’ boasts tightly coiled production, with some striking chillout patterns and drum and bass flavour.

We anticipate ‘Not Defective’ by Metzop to be hugely popular, with international airplay expected. Metzop is another one of the UK’s most talented emerging producers right now!
